Meet Melonie Marple, Au.D. CCC-A

Dr. Marple is the owner and director of Audiology and Hearing Solutions, Inc. She has been practicing audiology since 2001, providing patients with a level of professional care that goes above and beyond the basic and ordinary. She cares for her patients’ with empathy and intelligence while maintaining the highest level of ethic responsibility.  She was drawn to audiology because her older brother, Travis, was born with a profound hearing loss and she fondly remembers going to his audiology appointments with him as he was learning to hear and speak.  This field has always been close to her heart and she enjoys being able to help him and all of her other patients to hear their best.

Prior to opening her own practice in Winchester, Dr. Marple worked in a private practice in the greater Boston area for over 6 years specializing in adult and pediatric hearing aid fitting. She has also worked in a hospital setting providing diagnostic hearing and balance testing.

Dr. Marple obtained her clinical doctorate degree in audiology from the University of Florida and received her bachelor and master’s degrees from West Virginia University, graduating magna cum laude.

Dr. Marple actively participates in continuing education opportunities to keep up-to-date with constantly changing technologies. This allows her to provide patients with the best and latest advancements in hearing care available in the market today.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling as much as she can, reading, watching West Virginia University football and basketball, and yoga and spin classes.

She is licensed in the state of Massachusetts in Audiology and has a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and is a member of the Massachusetts Speech Language and Hearing Association. She is also Board Certified by the American Academy of Audiology.
